Unlike their Western cousins, the dragons of the East are a kinder, gentler sort. They do not breathe fire or hoard gold. They are thinking, wise beings. It was a dragon who presented an emperor with the gift of writing. They love water and air.

The dragon I'm writing about is from a different world, and has a bit of many different characteristics from the dragons in our own world.

Tegsh, the name of my dragon, is a Mongolian word that means living in balance and in consciousness of one's true nature and life purpose. Tegsh, in my book, has forgotten his true nature.
